Red Barn Farm is designed for a new generation of immersive traveler: Wine lovers who travel for great wine and unique experiences. Our five-acre farm on the Applegate River is nestled in a region of 19 artisan wineries called the Applegate Wine Trail. In fact, world famous, Red Lily Vineyard, can be accessed at our property. At Red Barn Farm, we have a river swimming hole, friendly farm animals, and fire pits to spend dreamy evenings under the stars. That's when you're not out exploring the natural wonders of Southern Oregon.

Wendy Walsh, never envisioned herself as a hospitality maven. She spent her career as a journalist and TV host before becoming a Psychology Professor. But a fateful road trip during the pandemic changed everything. On an seven-state journey, seeking fresh air and wide open spaces, she became enchanted with the warmth of Southern Oregon's Applegate Valley. When she saw the former cattle farm with it's old red barn, she stopped in her tracks. It evoked memories of her happy childhood summers spent at her family dairy farm on Prince Edward Island, Canada. That's exactly the kind of feeling she likes to inspire in her guests: the joy of country living, gazing over a lush pasture, diving into a cool river, eating fresh eggs, drinking clean well water, and petting cute goats. Welcome to country living.
